Although Honda is well known as a soccer player, he’s quite the businessman and angel investor as well. Honda oversees soccer schools both domestically and abroad and manages soccer teams in Austria, Cambodia, and Africa. In addition, he also raised a “Dreamers Fund” with Will Smith, who was a keynote speakers at Advertising Week New York 2018. During Honda’s keynote speech at AWAsia, he will discuss why he’s passion lies not only with soccer, but business ventures as well.

More about Keisuke Honda:

He gained fame after scoring two goals at the World Cup in South Africa 2010. In 2011, he was the MVP at the Asian Cup. A few years later in 2014, Honda transferred to Associazione Calcio Milan (AC Milan) where he received jersey #10. In the World Cup, he scored 3 goals in 3 consecutive world cups. As for business, he manages 80 soccer schools both domestically and abroad, and focuses on sports education globally while managing soccer teams in 3 different countries. In 2016 he was assigned as Global Advocate for Youth by the United Nations Foundation and in the same year, he was also named a member of special media laboratory member by MIT. In addition to his soccer and business goals, Honda tackles social issues such as poverty as well.
