AW Honours Presents: #AWEurope Future Is Female Awards! Nominate by 31/1

Advertising Week (AW) is excited to announce that the Future is Female Awards are coming across the pond! The award show, which debuted at AWNewYork 2019, honours rising stars of the advertising and marketing industry. Winners will be selected based on a combination of proven achievements: demonstrable ability to affect organisational change, commitment to external impact, ability to mentor others and professional endorsements. The Advertising Week team is currently seeking nominations to identify the emerging female leaders in the European marketing and advertising space.

Ten rising stars were honoured on stage during the inaugural Future Is Female Awards at Advertising Week New York 2019, supported by TV business Ampersand.

These women demonstrated “best-in-class” leadership throughout their career accomplishments. The winners were formally announced atAdvertising Week New York’s Opening Concert this past September, where the legendary TLC (“No Scrubs”, “Waterfall”, “Creep”) performed as part of the Future is Female celebration.

Entrants can be nominated by their organisation, enter on their own behalf or be entered by a partner company, client or colleague. All nominations must be submitted by Friday, 31st January 2020 and the winners will be chosen by a panel of esteemed judges in the final weeks leading up to Advertising Week Europe.

The entry criteria for the Future is Female Awards include:

  • Significant proven achievements over the span of the nominee's career
  • Demonstrate how the nominee has facilitated change within an organisation
  • Show how the nominee acts as a role model to others

Each entry should include a maximum 500-word summary and an endorsement from either the nominee’s organisation or a client.

The awards are suitable for those of any age, so we encourage any future leaders to apply, even those relatively early in their career.

In terms of level, we realize that job titles rarely demonstrate exact responsibility or level. Because of this, the judges are looking for future leaders that are primarily mid-level candidates, as opposed to C-suite.

The candidates need not be UK based but we will be honoring them at the opening of Advertising Week Europe in London, so they must have the ability to attend AW and be present if they win.

Nominate yourself or a fellow outstanding female leader today!
