From the classroom to being a radio DJ, into the leadership of advertising sales for both Radio and Television, to now being the leader of a dynamic multi-platform media group, has been Khalik’s path over the last 30 years. He is described as loud, charismatic, confident and a passionate leader of successful teams. His leadership at the helm of the eMedia group began in 2018, and he and his team’s efforts has seen the group grow financially and technologically to become the leading broadcaster in the country (in audience measurement), despite being faced with extraordinary circumstances and challenges.
Khalik is an inspirational leader who challenges and empowers those who work with him to achieve more than they imagine for themselves. He is the founder of the e.tv “Mumbai MBA In A Day” programme - renowned in the media industry in South Africa, and running since 2005.
