Senisha Moonsamy comes from a background of Public, Private Training and Education. This includes organisations such as The Services SETA and Protech Khuthele. Senisha is an expert in learnerships and the structuring of high-impact accelerator programmes.

Senisha Moonsamy is currently the Head of Innovation Skills Development (ISD); Enterprise Development Support; and Global Cleantech Innovation Programme (GCIP) in South Africa at the Technology Innovation Agency. Senisha Moonsamy currently serves as the Chairperson of GTMI, an advisory member of SASBI Board, and serves on the following steering commitees for Grassroot Innovation Programme, SOFI, GCIP, and the Ireland SA Tech Challenge.

ISD will greatly enhance TIA’s ability to serve as a catalyst for promoting and supporting innovation skills throughout the National System of Innovation (NSI). ISD drove a strong transformational agenda focusing on youth, women, and people from previously marginalised communities in line with South Africa’s equity targets. ISD implemented the Foresight Leadership Innovation Programme (FLIP) with Stanford University in community colleges, SATN & The Department of Environmental Affairs & NSG in South Africa.

Senisha has raised access to 100 million in 7 years from both local and international partners and executed multiple projects in skills development. Senisha has recently raised 2 million
dollars from UNIDEO & GEF for GCIP 2.0 over the next 4 years, with a focus on climate mitigation.
