Vukile Zondi is the dynamic leader at the helm at Gagasi Heart Media Group (GH Media Group). Zondi’s love affair with Media began on campus radio at RAU (now UJ), as the Legal & Programming Manager for RAU Radio, which later became UJFM. He has successfully built and led effective programming and content teams across leading commercial radio stations across the country, where he was Programme Manager including, YFM, 5FM and Gagasi FM. He was later to be appointed as Gagasi FM’s Managing Director in 2014 where he was instrumental in stabilizing Gagasi FM as a business, whilst growing the Gagasi audiences and its brand to be the heavy hitter it is in the media and entertainment industry. In 2021, Vukile crossed over to media ad sales by forming GH Media Group, which represents the powerhouse coastal main market radio brands Gagasi FM and Heart FM. Zondi sits on numerous boards and is a Councilor on the MAC Charter Council of South Africa responsible for monitoring and enforcing BBEE Codes in the Marketing Advertising and Communications Sector. Vukile is a humble yet firm leader who is passionate about empowering and coaching new leaders. Outside of media, Vukile has s deep love for his family, and shares a passion for music and sport, and he is a keen swimmer having completed 7 Midmark Miles and counting.
