Liz (as she is known) has grown brands for the 2 largest consumer goods companies in the world. Liz has harnessed the art & science of marketing to deliver sustainable brand growth. Liz has a mix of global, regional, and local brand building with a rare appreciation of the creative & commercial imperative of brand building.

Liz has worked to transform numerous billion-dollar brand in Africa including Always, Pampers, Duracell, Ariel, Handy-Andy & Domestos. She is a passionate and purpose-driven marketeer; believing business can be a force for good in driving societal change. . Currently, Liz leads the innovation & growth strategy for the HomeCare division at Unilever Africa; expanding the footprint of the Sunlight & Omo brands on the continent. She summarizes her work as “giving global brands an African passport; whilst giving African brands global exposure.

Liz is an intersectional feminist, passionate about women’s equal involvement in all spheres of society. This led her to found MEQUALITY consulting; a D&I consulting company aimed at accelerating black & female representation in the marketing industry.

In her personal life, Liz is a mother and wife, whose identity is anchored in her Christian faith. She is naturally curious and finds joy in exploring the bounties of the African creativity through fashion, literature, music and food,
